2 Brooks Idyllwild Vacation Cabin has been a family cabin for over 25 years. It was built in 1964 and was expanded and remodeled in 1994. It's architecturally interesting design caught Hollywood's eye and the cabin was used as the primary location for a movie titled "Don't Look Back" in 2013. It is a place to enjoy spending holidays, summer and winter, and it holds many happy memories for all who stay there. In winter it is a great place to relax with a cup of something warm and read a book in front of the fire. There is an extensive library of books in the house ranging from serious to humorous, factual and fiction. Put some music on and kick back and enjoy. If reading isn’t your thing, watch a movie and be immersed in the audio/video surround sound system. View movies from the cabin's classics collection or rent a more recent movie from the video store in town. If games are more to your liking there is a selection of family friendly games, cards, poker chips and puzzles to while away the time. Wake up in the morning to beautiful views of trees surrounding you. Have your cup of coffee snuggled in front of the fireplace or al fresco on one of the three decks. Easy walking distance to town, you can go either direction from the driveway (turn right out of the driveway for a brisk uphill walk to the top of town), enjoy restaurants, shops and bars without the hassle of parking, Hiking trails are nearby if high country adventure is a passion. If you want to cook during your Idyllwild adventure there is a grill for searing up the perfect steak. A full kitchen and large dining room table lets you create and enjoy a holiday (or any day) feast with family and friends. 2 Brooks makes it easy to create a memorable experience with family and friends.

Location, location, location. 2Brooks sits on lot next to a seasonal stream. Walking distance to town either way you turn out the driveway. If you head right out the driveway you will get a great uphill walk on Tahquitz, turn left at the end and you'll end up at the top of N. Circle in the upper part of town.
